A few days ago, Dance with Angels reached #1 New Release in Spirituality.
I didn’t expect that level of interest, to be honest, and it’s very meaningful to me.
Thank you to everyone who supported the launch—those who downloaded the book, shared it, or simply took a chance on something new. And to those who have already left or promised reviews, I truly appreciate it. They make a real difference.
This book started nine years ago, not as a business idea, but as a personal search. It came out of loss, questions, and a need to make sense of things I couldn’t explain. I started a search comparing beliefs about the afterlife and religion, but I ended up finding a pathway to recovery, hope and eventual happiness. Ironically, for a long time, it wasn’t even clear if it would ever become a book at all. Fortunately, I was able to push through and make it a reality.
So seeing it now in readers' hands—and knowing it’s resonating—is something I’m deeply grateful for. Offering books at a discount during a launch is one thing, but yesterday we had our first unsolicited, at-normal-price purchase on our Amazon page, which is another first and very gratifying. Thank you to those of you who downloaded it, shared it, or simply took a chance on something new.
So what now?
It turns out that publishing and marketing a book is a lot of work!
The next few days will be spent getting Dance with Angels listed with our online distributor so that the eBook will be available on Kobo, Amazon Books, Barnes & Noble, and many other online bookstores other than Amazon (for those of you who don’t want to pay off the Jeff Bezos wedding.)
We’ll also be listing the book with IngramSpark, so it becomes available through physical bookstores and libraries worldwide. (The store can order it)
The audiobook is the most exciting project on my plate at the moment. I am trying to produce one chapter every day and hope to have a great self-narrated audiobook toward the start of May. You can get sneak previews for free at the Lighthouse Lane Books - YouTube channel starting next week. They are going to be fantastic!!
